http://www.democraticunderground.com/discu...ess=104x2674946 Chris Matthews is jumping on board with the voting scandal! Tomorrow's show, Friday 7PM. This is your heads up. Wow, first Keith then David Shuster and now Chris Matthews. Great work to everyone who has been working on this and sending emails! Here's a snip from David Shuster's blog mentioning Matthews' tomorrow night show. On Friday night, "Hardball with Chris Matthews" (7 p.m. and 11 p.m. ET) will be jumping into the fray. You won't want to miss that. Plus, this weekend here on Hardblogger, I'll be posting some amazing national election numbers and demographic trends that may shock you. I've run some of the numbers past a few MSNBC political analysts, and everybody is calling it "a big deal." Sounds like must see TV to me! |

If Matthews jumps on board, I hope he's on our side - that's all I can say!!!
Did any of you watch him with the swift boat liars??? He was awesome - he just shut them right up, called them liars without saying the word, brought little Michelle Malkin to tears... I like his style, I just hope we're on the right side of his hardball--- if we are.... yee haw! I'm not sure I'd expect much out of Hardball. I got their daily email and they said:
QUOTE Later in the show Shuster rolls out a package on Ohio and a possible recount there...Don't worry folks, the election results won't be overturned, but it appears Dems and others want to set the record straight on the final numbers...Shuster intends to make sense of it all...Here's Shuster's "aperitif" blog on the matter http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6446237/#041111c

Everyone needs to email the results of this MIT PhD's analysis across the media...
http://www.buzzflash.com/alerts/04/11/ale04090.html QUOTE The Unexplained Exit Poll Discrepancy
A BUZZFLASH NEWS ALERT BuzzFlash was forwarded a copy of a new research paper (271k PDF) on the exit polls from the 2004 election. http://www.buzzflash.com/alerts/04/11/The_...epancy_v00k.pdf In "The Unexplained Exit Poll Discrepancy," Dr. Steven F. Freeman says: "As much as we can say in social science that something is impossible, it is impossible that the discrepancies between predicted and actual vote counts in the three critical battleground states [Ohio, Florida, and Pennsylvania] of the 2004 election could have been due to chance or random error." The odds of those exit poll statistical anomalies occurring by chance are, according to Freeman, "250,000,000 to one." That's 250 MILLION to ONE. He concludes the paper with this: "Systematic fraud or mistabulation is a premature conclusion, but the election's unexplained exit poll discrepancies make it an unavoidable hypothesis, one that is the responsibility of the media, academia, polling agencies, and the public to investigate." And I feel for you, because I've been there. A few times. In fact, one of them was a bit of a nail-biter. But see, when the guy that you disagree with gets elected, he's probably going to do things you disagree with. He could cut taxes on the wealthy, remove government's oversight capability, invade a country that you thought should not be invaded, but that's not tyranny. That's democracy. See, now you're in the minority. It's supposed to taste like a "expletive deleted" taco." - Jon Stewart on Republican whining |

Matthews is not likely to join your common cause without some serious questioning of the evidence...
He may not overtly help your cause, but any exposure on any public media will open more questioning up... The point is not so much to overturn the election as it is to weaken this admin... Keep the issue of no accountability in the public eye...in every area of this admin's reach...weaken them systemically... Remember Nixon...and his ultimate fate... Far more devastating to him and his backers than one election overturned.... |

My question is this. Did they change the exit poll this time from one or two questions to 30 questions? That is bound to have thrown a monkey wrench into the "works"
