Taking Over Bush’s Endless War By Eugene Robinson — Terrorism (for the umpteenth time) is a tactic, not an enemy. One of the most urgent tasks for President-elect Barack Obama’s “team of rivals” is coming up with a coherent intellectual framework—and a winning battle plan—for George W. Bush’s globe-spanning “war on terror.”

BushCo's GWOT was just cover for getting control of Iraqi oil.

"MISSION ACCOMPLISHED"

Now perhaps, Obama will fight terrorists - not terrorism. The best way to do this is by COOPERATING with foreign governments to LOCATE these folks, then quietly hunt them down and kill them.

QUiet, simple, efficient, no "collateral damage"

We used to call this "police work". When John Kerry called it that he was deemed "unpatriotic"

Strange world we live in.

I agree. What will be the military strategy in Afghanistan that Obama wants to implement?
