If you want to spend no money you might want to stop by http://free.avg.com/ which tends to work very well with zlob type issues.

You can also stop by http://www.spywareremove.com/removeZlob.html and run the scan to see what all is infected and either use their copy or follow their step by step by hand removal.

Wish I could be of more help

Terra -- I have the latest version of AVG.....we use it here in the community on our thirty something pc's in our lab and classroom. Thanks for the other links. Right now I can't get up there and discuss it with our more geekee members, I should maybe put a message on our bulletin board and see what responses I get there.

Graham ..... thanks for asking maus

It is not an easy removal process but Symantec has a series of steps in combination with a removal tool that can remove the trojan infection.

He's right, too. We never could get my dads computer completely clean and finally I installed a new drive. Norton has caught everything so far, so I give them a big thumbs up on their product.

They Symantec links should be http://www.symantec.com/security_response/...-99&tabid=3

Mucho Gracias Terra and Graham --- and Maus.

Looks like I will need to set aside a lot of time to try to deal with this.

May be above my pay scale.
