WHY don't you post in the music thread, of which anyone is welcome and its almost a no-political zone
unless it is a political song or something

just music and vids and anyone is welcome

unless the use of maggot brain is just an insult to me, and a double entendre too, in that it would then mean its mocking me musically
cuz stupid I ain't, so I pick up on these things one way or another.

being that every word matters and matters are in every word

(unless one blabs on and on like myself, at which point not every word matters, because to reach the meaty good stuff, you gotta go through some
filler)

but then I write as I speak, sometimes moving 10 directions in one paragraph.

QUOTE
O come, O come, Emmanuel,
and ransom captive Israel,
that mourns in lonely exile here
until the Son of God appear.

Refrain:
Rejoice! Rejoice!
Emmanuel shall come to thee, O Israel.

O come, thou Dayspring, come and cheer
our spirits by thine advent here;
disperse the gloomy clouds of night,
and death's dark shadows put to flight. Refrain

O come, thou Key of David, come,
and open wide our heavenly home;
make safe the way that leads on high,
and close the path to misery. Refrain

Words: Latin, twelfth century;
trans. John Mason Neale (1818-1866), 1851
MIDI: Veni Emmanuel (fifteenth century plainsong)

Meter: 88 88 88

O Come, O Come Emmanuel has been my favorite Christmas hymn for many years. Although it's never really sounded Chrismassy. The music is ethereal and sppoky.

you know, for decades I have hated one Christmas song
but for some reason the last few years it warms me inside to hear
