In post number 62 I thank people in the mentioned thread, but I felt a need to do so here in a separate thank you thread. This thread is a reminder that common ground is achieved here. I at some point agreed to be civil even in the face of strong and determined disagreements over ideology, philosophy, politics,..
I think with familiarity comes respect, and the fights that some people here vehemently opposed, fights I enjoyed in the past, helped to breed this respect. I now know where others stand and with this familiarity I feel others earned the right to be treated with respect from me. I hope others will see this post and maybe understand a bit of where I am coming from, my style and the sincerity I've always had when I've said I did not hate anyone here and that I did not really take things personally.
Am I apologizing? I don't think so, but we do hear things we want to hear...or so it is said we do.
