yesterday evening, in Hollywood Florida, another man was killed by police using a taser gun to restrict him....this is a total of 39 deaths allover the USA, with this way of arresting people

39 deaths in what time period? Per what percentage of people shot by taser guns? What is the percentage of deaths compared with other methods of suspect constraint?
Is the death rate higher for taser guns or .357 magnums?
Was the suspect on drugs? Suspects on PCP or methamphetamine pose huge risks to officers, and ofen have super-human strength because of the drugs. In such a situation, a taser gun might represent the least risky alternative for all those involved.
