The new USMC Gen. Smedley D. Butler Award (I've just created it) needs nominations. This award goes to the service person who best exemplified speaking truth to power (at the Pentagon). In the past, Gen Butler distinguished himself both on and off the battlefield by telling the truth bravely and without regard for his personal safety, in an effort to protect and serve his fellow soldier and countryman.

I hereby nominate Army Spec. Thomas Wilson of TN for recent actions taken in speaking up to his commanding brass from the Pentagon. These efforts will undoubtedly save the lives of his comrades and should be commended.
