Terra
Hey folks…

I just got my renewal notice a few minutes ago. How time has flown, and I'd forgotten it was coming up so quickly.

I'm not sure how fast it will shut my account off, so I'll take this moment to say it's been a pleasure to get to know
some of you throughout the years. It's been an extreme pleasure to actually meet a few of you as well.

Livy - I always read your journals, when that was about the only place I could find you posting. It was always something I looked forward to when I logged in. There is a lot of history in those posts, I hope you keep them all backed up somewhere.

Taz, you are like that tasmanian devil - funny, frustrating and most of all, IMO a good hearted person that likes to shake things up. Maybe someday when your heading to the horse races, you'll stop by and tip your hat to Livy for me!

Bill - you and Taz together didn't win me over on immigration, neither of you! I just got tired, ya that's it! Between the two of you I felt like a yo-yo! teehee.gif

GOP - It's never dull with you around, I think you've been an incredibly good sport and dish out as good as you receive! Kudos!

There are a lot of really nice people here, and I'm sorry if I missed you - AP, Trou, Jeff, believe it, the two cats, DBW, RWS.. you're all in there.

Arne, I think you love the debate more than anything... but I will forever remember "If my father were alive he would... " (I wish he was still around, but you know what I mean) I appreciate the confidence you gave me a few months ago... (it's all benign folks, no CT here, move along)

Snuff - I think you are well on your way to creating a very large RSS news gathering site... if that was your goal, a hearty congratulations!

G4 - Goodness.. what can I say here. I wish we had met on a music, musical or theatre site, we have lots in common there. I still don't 'get it' as to why, but it's weighing heavy on the reason for this post ... but I'll simply remember you as the guy in NY that loves his...

Other than that - the rest of you I know I'll see at the little calm place out there somewhere...

It's been a great run for me, and I'll miss you all!

I'm going to miss you for sure, Terra ..

I wish you all the best out there in the world ....

And I really appreciate that t'ai chi picture you posted, with its emphasis on the HANDS ...

Take good care, Terra .....

And I will say that I hope you are not gone for good ....

And so ...

Terra......Please take a restful break and then come back to us. You've always been a voice of reason. Your absence will create a void here, and I will miss your thoughtful posts.

Don't make it permanent -- just call it "a pause" and then I'll be looking for you again, okay?? yes2.gif
Pegatha

As soon as somebody figures out that I've not re-upped for years, I'm gone, too. If anybody is paying for me, please don't - I'm serious.

Well, if a membership fee were the only thing keeping Terra or Peg from staying, I would gladly pay it for them. But this forum can where you down. If a membership fee serves as an excuse to leave, that's understandable too. The drama on this forum is kind of like that night time soap opera that gets you sucked in when you know you don't have time to watch, and it does you no good to watch anyway.

I'll miss you both and maybe I'll see you on another forum.

it's wear you down, bill. (spelling)

I have watched young and restless since the early 1980s now

Used to watch with my grandmother (on my father's side) while going over with my wife for lunch once a week. She got me into it.
(see:heritage thread)

I will watch it til they cancel it.

And some of the same people have been on the entire time I have been watching

another personal attack. keep 'em coming bill. (not to mention, I may not be smart as you, however, I wasn't the one who didn't put the correct WEAR down.)

I bet if you did a survey of Mensa people, a good number would watch Soap Operas.
Not to mention the night time ones.
Livyjr
Au revoir, Terra ....

Not good-bye ...
Livyjr
And that should be ADIEU, and not au revoir!

And so ...
