Law Professors Line Up Behind Sotomayor More than 1,100 law professors have signed a letter supporting the confirmation of Judge Sonia Sotomayor to the Supreme Court. The letter, released today and sent to the Senate Judiciary Committee, praises the quality of Sotomayor's opinions on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit and her résumé, including her membership on the board of what was then the Puerto Rican Legal Defense and Education Fund.
