Bush's excuse for the Draft to Come


The next step in this mindless foreign folly is the reinstitution of the draft which will, by my estimates, will come in about 6 to 9 months.

Bush's excuse for this, which will be fully supported by his corrupt corporate cronies, will amount to "things have changed in Iraq since the election."


Don't bother to pack suitcases for your sons and daughters. They won't need them where they are going. And count on Republican parents to manipulate the system as much as money can buy, to keep their children from going to war. I don't know if it will be like it was in the 60's or not but if you had money and power you could keep your fortunate son out of the service. this time they may be a song to come out called fortunate son's, daughter's, grandson's and granddaughter's. if you voted for Bush MORE POWER TO YA!! mabe you will see what you really voted for down the road!!

As you stated, it was $, and also, for the few who showed up for duty in 'Nam were given 'special' duty or treatment... far from harms way. Many of those choosen few usually have shortened duty in those areas also. 4-5 mths.

What I would expect in this upcoming draft and with all the focus on it coming back will be how the neocons and rich repugs will situate their chosen offspring in locations and positons that are well protected..... just to prove to everyone how their kids are serving. You'll see special photo ops to show how there's no favors in this draft.... but like everything else they BushCo and the connected corporations, they'll lie and fake ppl out with this also... making everyone think that their kids are 'brave' and pulling 'hard' duty.

It's how it is always handled 90% of the time ....... for the chosen rich and connected.
