Obama Is No Realist
By Paul Wolfowitz

Amid war and recession, Americans are in a no-nonsense, matter-of-fact mood. But that, says a leading architect of George W. Bush’s foreign policy, is no reason to adopt a misguided doctrine.

The concepts of, "Realism" vs "Idealism" are used in academic discussions of foreign policy as the concepts of, "Conservative" vs "Liberal are used in domestic policy discussions--to obscure and facts and the real attitudes
of the discussants. As Wolfowitz says, "Neoconservatism" developed critique the Realism School of thought in foreign policy." I would add that, "Neoliberalism" developed to critique the critique the Idealism School of thought.

Both Neo's are used to provide a cover for using Militarism to expand the, "American Empire."
