It would be cheaper for all concerned if business were directly to pay senators and congressmen and eliminate the middlemen, the parasites that live on the surplus money in this system, paid for their ability to persuade both sellers and buyers (so to speak) that they are providing a service by facilitating the bargain. Elections now cannot take place without them. Continue

US citizens must roll back the decision that the corporation is a Person and has all the rights of a person. If we fail to do this the human social system, as we know it, can not survive another 50 years...

Same argument William Jennings Bryan made 100 years ago (case was Santa Clara vs Southern Pacific Railway).

He did not prevail.

But we did.

Actually, I think we allow our opinion makers to make too much of the Oil issue...

to having...
