The silver lining to climate change?

If we want the climate to change BACK it will take active management of solar radiation.

We are too far gone on greenhouse gases.

Interesting, I wish you would elaborate a little further...

Interesting, I wish you would elaborate a little further...

In 1992, Mt Pinatubo blew a few million tons of ash into the upper atmosphere. The planet cooled about 2 degrees for the next 2 years before re-stabilizing.

Scientists have proposed scattering particles via rocket into space. Also, launching ultra-thin metalized mylar reflectors which could alter the amount of solar radiation that actually reached the earth's surface.

I call this active thermal management, and I think it is necessary for the world to do.

Not just because of the present problem, but for future climate changes (even if caused by mother nature) because there are TOO MANY OF US to leave it to her whims.
