Remember this quote?
QUOTE
In America it is vital that every vote count, and that every vote be counted. But the outcome should be decided by voters, not a protracted legal process.

Since then we learned that we as voters cannot always file election recount requests, so David Cobb did that for us. Is David Cobb representing David Cobb? No, he is representing the VOTERS. So, how can we show that it is US that want the real votes counted?

Emails
Letters
Protests
Phone Calls
Petitions

And, how best to show the majority of voters want this?

Organize the masses
Write Letters
Sign Petitions
Send Emails
Attend Protests
Make Phone Calls
Invite other groups to join us - AFLCIO, NAACP, AARP, (lets make a list and start campaigning to ask them to join our efforts quickly)

And, shouldn't we all be requesting our candidate to UNCONCEDE?

YES........

And we need to prove to the media that if the truth was known by the 80% they didn't poll, our numbers would be much higher.

And how do we do this?

Does the pre-election media action ring any bells?

Who do we know that may have the money for national advertising?

And, how do we get them involved?

Or, should we start a fund for that purpose?

We don't have much time left - we have to act quickly on all of this - let's do it.

Please list things to do here and organizations to contact - I am sure there are more than I have listed here - we need email addresses for them, phone numbers, etc.

If enough of us do everything we can between now and January 6th we MAY be able to do something. How many people who do not visit the forums have you talked to? How many people offline know what happened November 2? I bet if each of us makes 10 calls tomorrow and ask them to make 10 more calls each we could have a chance at showing John Kerry, Ohio, America and the world that we aren't going to take it anymore! What do we want? When do we want it?

Let's all quit trying to hope this thing into happening and take action!

I agree. How can we complain about KE when we aren't
doing what they did in Ukraine?

Here is something the William Pitt Truthout guy posted at DU. I can't
follow that site very well but this was a nice post:

QUOTE
I see posts all the time by people who cannot believe the American people are going along with all this Bush crap. The torture, the war, the lies...it all gets skated over, and we react with deep frustration. Hell, there was a letter in this alternative weekly magazine here after the election addressed to 'Red State America.' The letter began, "YOU HAY EATING MORONS..."

But after watching the wig-out tonight, I am wondering if there is a deeper truth happening. I am trying to phrase this so as not to be offensive or piss anyone off.

Basically, people don't take the time to read.

Even with all the smart people in this forum, a forum with such a narrow focus, there were and still are a lot of people here who do/did not know:

1. That there are at least two cases in Ohio in two separate courts;

2. That there is more than one lawyer involved;

3. That the Kerry campaign is over, so 'spokespeople' are not all feeding from the same information trough;

4. That Kerry's lawyer did not file a lawsuit, but instead filed motions in support of another lawsuit;

Etc.

I am not saying this to embarrass anyone or make anyone feel bad. The point is this: Policy stuff is complicated, especially when it gets into the courtroom. There is a lot to encompass, a lot of angles and a lot of data.

Possibly the best election fraud activists in America populate this forum, and still the situation managed to overwhelm and get past all these good minds.

So maybe tomorrow, when you wake up, have a little less spite in your heart for average Americans who have never heard of DU, went to a crappy high school where basic civics didn't get taught well, work two jobs so they can feed their three kids and so have to rely on the goddam television to tell them the truth, and have been snookered by a bunch of hatemongers passing themselves off as Christians.

This stuff gets complicated. The job is to cut through that and make it as clear as we can. If we can mess up and blow past information sitting right on the forum here, we can forgive a lot of other people for missing the point on other things.

Slow down. Read. Do not let your emotions overcome you. We have a lot of people to help, and if we do not put the work in first, we can't help them, and then we fail.

Thanks for posting Buster. We should all be working our a$$es off right now instead of second guessing and condemning. Let's not look back on this with regret, folks. Let's go for it while we have a chance. Just read some posts in General about homelessness, heard some lady talking the other day on CNN about losing her son in Iraq, and I don't want to keep hearing that and more over the next four years. WE have a chance to do something about this - lets go out in a blaze of glory - AMERICA IS A WONDERFUL PLACE TO SAVE - LETS DO IT!

What organizations can we mobilize quickly? Jesse Jackson will be in Columbus Ohio on the 3rd at 1:30 pm for a rally across from the state house in a theater. How many people can we get to attend?

How many in the media have you contacted today?

How many relatives/friends have you called to let them know what they can do to help take our country back?

How many advertisers in the media have you contacted?

How many petitions have you signed?

Have you asked people you know offline if you can add their names to the petitions?

How many in congress have you contacted today?
