I was browsing the Guns topic over at the Democratic Leadership Council, and was disturbed by just how uninformed the site managers are on the gun issue. Among other things, they think the 1994 Feinstein ban on over-10-round firearms banned "military weapons," and that guns like my wife's Glock or my mini-14 are "useful primarily to criminal gangs who want to kill law enforcement officers." <_< They paint opposition to the Feinstein ban as a "conservative" position (rather than a libertarian one) and call it a "wierd extreme." Is it any wonder that the party leadership doesn't understand why they keep driving away owners of nonhunting guns?? blink.gif

The Society for Creative Anachronism, where the weapons of choice seem to be the longbow, the fencing epee, and the rattan sword...all of which will soon be banned in Massachusetts, New Jersey, and the UK... tongue.gif

One of the many ways the Dems have screwed up their campaigns is by taking controversial positions which are completely unneccessary and irrelevant.

Gun Control is one of them.

There are approx 200 million guns/rifles in America. The genie is out of the bottle. There can never be gun control with that number of uncontrolled guns. Nothing can change this fact.

Why even bring it up?

It just give them more mud to sling.
