Another American beheading in Iraq, but this one was done in a raid. I sense higher anger levels building in the militants against the US. Rings intentions of "take no US prisoners"

[BAGHDAD, Iraq -- Militants abducted three senior Iraqi officials, beheaded a man who worked for the U.S. military and killed at least four others, officials said today, a day after a U.S. general warned that insurgents may be planning "horrific" attacks ahead of Jan. 30 elections.]

[In Baqouba, insurgents broke into the house of a translator working with the U.S. Army and then beheaded him, police said today. An Iraqi policeman was killed by masked gunmen as he left his house in Baghdad's southern Dora neighborhood.]

When people fight this type of war that these people are fighting against the U.S. in Iraq. They do not have time, food, or room for Prisoners. Plus it is more of a "HEAD" effect on the people of the invading country that you are using such tactics against, to show beheadings. For some reason this really messes people up that foot the bill for the "SHRUB" War! But yet in Basic, we were taught the spirit of the bayonette was to kill and showed plenty of ways of killing with it. Not much difference if one takes the time to think about it. Head War - ghostgovt - and trust me it works well. Hang Tough-

This is one result of our decision to ignore Geneva.....

Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, a former miltary lawyer, expressed his concerns about our policies and how they endanger our own soldiars lives.....

QUOTE
``When you start looking at torture statutes and you look at ways around the spirit of the law, you're losing the moral high ground,'' a senator told Gonzales at yesterday's confirmation hearing.

These words didn't come from Democrats Ted Kennedy or Patrick Leahy. They came from Senator Lindsey Graham, a conservative South Carolina Republican.
.
.
.
``We've dramatically undermined the war effort'' by ``playing cute with the law,'' said Graham. ``We've lost our way.''
That memo wasn't ``just a little bit wrong, but entirely wrong,'' Graham said.

and...

QUOTE
A dozen former military officers wrote the Judiciary Committee saying Gonzales's memo ``fostered greater animosity toward the United States, undermined our intelligence-gathering efforts and added to the risks facing our troops serving around the world.''

With you there Bammo...

as in 'nam.... things there got to 'outdoing' the enemy in being nastier they they were. sadly, as in war, it becomes a growing monster that tries to outdo it's own ugliness. therefore, the 'headgames' takes over on battlefields in it's ugliest ways.

our citizens and armed forces has yet to see the growing ugliness that Iraq will become.... and beyond Iraq.

this is my first reading of such a (beheading) raid in Iraq, so that is signaling me that they have stepped it up another notch for defeating us over there.... using this fear factor in how torturious death will be to one who fights them. we may witness a brand new 'uglier' death in this Iraq mess yet.

that is true_democrat

it is what a warrior sees when in battle that reflects what he develops into... and memories of any disgusting death and torture to his own ppl will result in the same or worse that he himself inflicts upon his enemy.

this moron administration (that has little war experience other then Powell) played with ppl's lives who are currently in war zones that may receive serious torture and death due to irresponsible actions in our prison camps. sure, there's an enemy who tortures naturally, but this outbreak of illegal actions in our pow camps has created many more enemies to react in the same manner. as hard as it is to believe there are soldiers on opposite sides who normally have some compassion, and there has been events in past wars where an enemy solider spared an American life only out of his own compassion for life... but when it's a known factor that we do not regard every prisoner as a proper human by disgracing or mutilating them, the repercussion of those acts removes what little compassion there may be in any given enemy.
