So the war on terror is not winnable, does not have perameters for winning, does not have a viable enemy. So let's downgrade this sucker. Afterall, we have not attacked countries that are documented to support extremists and terrorist, like Saudi Arabia, Syria, so how can this truly be a "war"? Also, when was the last successful attack/capture against any known terrorists?

And let us not confuse the issue by including Iraq "insurgents". These Iraqs or foriegn mercenaries are not fighting in the war on terror, but are fighting for Iraq independence from an occupying force. If you disagree, then you must also think that the American Revolutionaries were terrorist.

What's happening in the Darfur region is a form of terrorism, but that is not a front for the US WOT?

So if we are no longer in the WOT, then we can rollback the increased taxes to help pay for this war. Oh wait, that never happened.

And if we drop the WOT, then we can dedicate more resources to the war in Iraq. Oh wait, we already did that too.

Oh well, I suppose there isn't any reason to downgrade the "war on terra"...
