There is another way to produce bio fuels other than the traditional bio-mas model. The most promising was fetured in Discover magazine. They highlighted the benifits of Thermal Deplymerization. In this production model, carbon based waste is converted into light sweet crude by heating an pressurizing the material. There is already a pilot plant in operation in Philidelphia and a medium facility in Carthrage, MS. Best yet, it is economical and can compete with gas at regular prices.
