This is just a taste of more to come. The reporters talk about this being a value election. Well god created the environment and the Bush administration is about to trash it by rolling back regulations and protections. So much for christian values. The best thing the progressives could do is educate the public on the plans the administration have with facts. You cannot reach the people who voted for Bush on progressive media outlets. You have to reach them on the media they watch. I hope all those people who gave Bush his second term are happy when the four years are over. Too bad we cannot have the Christian base to push their followers to watch "The Day After", like they pushed "The Pasion". One thing we need to do is keep repeating the simple facts of their plans over and over and over. This is the tool the Republicans use and it seems to work.
petrosi
Look, all we do have is the 45 in the Senate..
The House will pass all sorts of garbage (they do represent the heart and soul of the
Republican Party and Bush himself or should that be Bush Himself).

Our most important weapon is educating the public.
As the article suggested our illustrious elected reps do have to run again.
If the people understand the significance of an anti-environmental vote that
bit of knowledge can be a deciding factor in voting the bad boys out....

What upsets me most is that nowhere in the mainstream medial do you see
anything to mention about environmental education.
God/Bush forgive that we ask the American people to conserve.
Paraphrasing Bushie, a republican( or mainstream democrat for that matter but especially republicans- my addition) won't ask an American to do without something.

signing off with a heavy heart.... Peter
