We've all been contacting the media and are personally decrying the fallability (and hackability) of computers, but has anyone tried to contact some of the biggies in the computer industry? The people that the 'common public' might listen to?
I'm talking Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Steve Case, Linus Torvalds? Let's get some people who make their living on computers to come out and be honest about the capabilities of these units.
I'm less interested in fighting the results of the election and more interested in making sure these e-vote units get out of use permanently.

Most of those big names already tested it and deemed it never should have come out, including John Hopkins university. Just follow the links.

Thanks for the heads-up, I must have missed it. Not surprising, in the utter lack of media storm over this.
What I wouldn't give to flip on the tv and see a public service spot with Bill Gates, saying "Don't give control over democracy to a computer."
