I just don't know what to say about this. First let me say, I have nothing against the church or anyone of any religon. It's good that they believe in something. But not everyone believes in the Bible and should be forced to live by it.

Of those who attend worship services regularly, more than 60 percent helped born-again Christian George W. Bush keep his present address largely because of their resonating with his belief system.
Dawson of Columbus is one of them.
"I did vote for him, because I think he is all about morals. The second reason has to do with family values, about a husband and wife being only a man and a woman; and the life issue -- the importance of respecting life." For the Edgewood Baptist Church member who directs a Columbus pregnancy center, Dawson thinks all other issues flow from these. The economy, for instance, wouldn't be in such dire straits if more single parents were married and had jobs, Dawson believes. That's a moral issue to her.
"We are paying for immorality," Dawson said Thursday. "Essentially, a lot of our tax money goes to support immoral behavior.
"People need to get a job."

Oh, so know we are going to blame single mothers now?

He is not completely sold on Bush, though he's voted for him twice now. He finds him to be arrogant and someone who lies frequently. But on the issue of gay marriage, the two see eye-to-eye.
"I voted for him because of this one moral issue," said Chisolm, a Mississippi native who as a black man recognizes he's going against most voters of his race by voting for Bush. "If Kerry had gotten in office, I don't think both feet would have been in the door before he signed a law making same-sex marriages OK."

So Bush lies, gets us involved in an illegal war, ticked off three quarters of the world, the list could go on. But he voted for him because we have to keep the gays from marrying. ooookay. I guess that makes sense.

, a member of Wynnbrook Baptist Church, is a self-professed evangelical and fundamentalist -- labels she wears openly and proudly. She and her husband, Allen, voted for Bush both times, but are not straight-ticket voters. They agree with Bush's values, she said, particularly on partial-birth abortion, abortions in the third trimester. At her Bible study Wednesday morning at Wynnbrook, someone came in to report that Kerry conceded the race. Binns said the group was "jubilant" but added they later prayed for unity for the country, and for the Kerry and Edwards families.

"I think people voted by what they believe in. I think Bush is a real nice man and very genuine, very likeable."

I guess they will be happy to send their sons and daugters off to the war soon. Since Bush is a likeable and genunine guy.
She also said that they could not pick and choose their values. As Ed Schartz (SP?) said the same thing in today's show.
He brought up Capital Punishment (which Bush has the record in Texas), he brought up the war, he brought up the poor. He put this one lady in her place. Did anyone else catch his show today?
Okay, my vent is over. I had to get this off my chest.
