AKRON, Ohio -- The elections board in Akron is taking ballot security to a new level.

The Summit County Elections Board will spend $21,000 to install security cameras at various locations, including a vault where ballots are stored.

The goal is to make sure no one tampers with ballots, especially in a close election.

Other cameras will be installed around elections board offices.
