I would say Spitzer can handle it, but this is a media fight. One good thing is that slowly but surely more people are becoming aware of the smear tactics.

They've also been doing it with Hillary Clinton. In expectation of her 2008 White House run, they want to make sure they've sufficiently sullied her name before the election. Dick Morris is a frequent Hillary basher on Fox.
