AAHSA Speaks Out on Health Care Reform
5/18/2009 - AAHSA has submitted comments to the Senate Finance Committee in response to the committee's paper on policy options for transforming the health care delivery system. In general, we stressed the importance of long-term services and supports as integral to the health care delivery system, and we also responded to such specific proposals as bundling Medicare post-acute payments, value-based payment for nursing homes and home health, transparency and health information technology.
