It's not just 600,000 in Ohio: LA, FL, MI, KS, NM, CO, and NV
Votes being purged left and right, well not really right, they are the purgers not the purgees.
Yesterday, thankfully there was a diary on the rec list about 600,000 votes in Ohio, I am happy and glad that diary got some damn attention, far too many like it drop like rocks. EVERYTIME.

There has been a panel of alternating average citizens overseeing the removal of the voters here in Nevada. If they moved, lost their house to foreclosure and moved or can't be found via any forwarding address they are being removed. I don't see that as scrubbing in the bad sense. You do have to meet a certain degree of 'validity' to vote and living here and being a citizen of the U.S. are two valid points. If people want the privilege of voting, if they move and are still within the Vegas area it really falls on their shoulders to make a simple call to update their new address - even though the panel are checking the Post Office for forwarding addresses.
Yes, a large section of our Hispanic population has left town and mostly returned to Mexico because of the horrid economy here.
