Here in my home state is one of the most inspirational memorials ever erected on behalf of the Vietnam Veterans. The Angel Fire National Vietnam Veterans Memorial is set in one of natures most scenic and beautifully natural settings anywhere and we New Mexico vets consider our selves lucky to be the guardians of this wonderful place.
You have an open invitation to come to Angel Fire any time, to experience this magical place will change you forever. When God was asked to suggest a place above all to memorialize the personal struggles of the Vietnam Veteran, his immediate response was to point out the Moreno Valley of North Central New Mexico. A location steeped in American history going back to the 16th century, so beautiful that visitors have to absorb and see it to believe the wonder of it all. At 8500 feet above sea level, the climate and the atmosphere in Angel Fire is as pristine as it was when it was when first settled 400 years ago.
