[B]I just read on one of the Veteran's clubs web site that someone is trying to organize a MARCH on Washington to make this Administration wake up to the VA and forget about continually cutting it's budget. They are trying to get all the Veteran's organizations to jump in and help. I know that I'll be there to carry the National Ensign into the battle to remind this Administration that we're tired of those appointed as Chairpeople of Veterans issues, and we're tired of the smoke and mirrors that they use to beat us into the ground!

Just wanted to add that they said it is NOT a political issue it's a Vet's Issue!
So anyone that thinks that it's political forget it and don't bother coming out to join their March.

I'm not a vet , can't go to Washington and probably can't march more than a couple of blocks (at least in a reasonable amount of time) but let me know if I can help.

Not sure how much this will help, but this page list the persons on the Subcommittee on Health that deals with VA vets. Keep up the good cause comrade.
http://veterans.house.gov/about/health.htmlThe Subcommittee on Health has legislative and oversight jurisdiction for the Department of Veterans Affairs’ health care programs and VA’s health care system.

Can you give us some details Khesahnvet? When will it be? Got a web site to go see more about it?
I've never had a problem with my VA but I'm healthy as a horse. I know waiting for service is an issue at the Dallas VA if you have health problems, got to plan about six weeks in advance to get sick.

I have recently received information that several service organizations are planning a march on Washington for sometime in June. I would recommend that if you are interested and believe in this very worthwhile cause that you contact your local Legion, VFW, DAV, or any other Veterans Organization that you may be involved with and find out when this "march" will happen in DC. I want to thank those who contacted me on my original posting here on this site and to all those Veterans that didn't I hope that you re-consider and join this very, very needed event in June.
With Regards,
