Global warming is accelerating, and with Bush's policies (or lack of policies) and his refusal to join the Kyoto treaty, it will accelerate even faster. This is very good news.
In a few years, Canada will have a much milder climate, making it far easier for US citizens wishing to escape Bush to move to Canada.
Florida will soon be under water.
Many Republican districts in the newly redistricted Texas will also disappear under water.
It will become so unbearably hot in the middle east that Iraqis will be fighting to get OUT of their country. They'll let us have it.
You will soon be able to boat to the top of the Statue of Liberty, rather than having to walk all of those stairs.
Manhattan will take on all the charms of Venice.
Rush Limbaugh will no longer be able to talk for hours about the "global warming conspiracy".
Can you think of any other good things about global warming?
Remember, keep driving those SUVs!

The rise in ocean water will not only come from the melting of the ice caps, but it will also rise because the rise in temperature will make the ocean water expand, the same way liquid expands/rises in a thermometer when temperature is raised. I live 20 miles from the tip of Florida and the water's only going to rise like 3-5 feet so I'm not too worried about having to run for cover.
But, iceland, I think, is going to be reshaped due to global warming. The western hemisphere is going to erode and melt away while the rise in temperature on the eastern hemisphere will actually cause more snow, so it will kinda equal out. As much as you lose on the western side, you'll gain near the same amount on the eastern side. Weird how it works out.
Global warming is going to affect, in the short term at least, is animal life in the very cold parts of the world. The rise in temperature will somehow cause ice to form on plants and food that animals need to eat for survival. This is already happening.
And no, i'm not a smart nature person, i'm in real estate and i'm in business school. I'm just repeating the talking points about global warming that I saw on C-Span yesterday...:D.

There will be a 50-50 chance a hurricane will strike Topeka instead of Tampa?

Yes. It will be really hard on the mideast, the Arab countries that are the source of the terrorist ideology.
See, Bush isn't so dumb -- he'll cook those terrorists.

Wow! All the coastal libs will have to move inland and the red states will become blue.
This is interesting! Global Warming may not be so bad after all.
