Common Ground Common Sense > Issues that Affect Our Lives > U.S. Military Issues > U.S. Military Issues Archive

SnuffySmith has posted here at CGCS, down in the Cafe, a link to two stories (with a copy of the policy itself in pdf format) that indicate that there is a draft policy in development that will allow for the pre-emptive use of nuclear weapons in certain scenarios.

Any comments?

Everyone must keep in mind that with every issue, the righties will justify the means by simply believing the ends are worthy because they are connected to “God” and therefor any decisions they make can not be wrong. The end will justify the means isn’t good enough, in their opinion their decisions are a godsend and are not to be trifled with. Mess with today’s righties and your life will have less value. Like the Air Force Academy, it can’t be just God, it has to be the “right god”
Give their leader and hero the trigger, with his military experience he'll know how to handle all that power.
Does that scare you, it should.
