I just found this website
PETA kills Animals And would like to hear peoples take on it. I think to each their own personally. But if what this website lists is true, then PETA must live in a glass house.

For some perspective, millions, perhaps tens of millions of animals are killed in shelters every year. Most shelter personnel don't like euthanizing their animals, but they are so overcrowded, they face the Hobson's choice of forcing animals to starve on the streets, or giving them painless deaths. That even an organization like PETA is faced with this dilemma is no surprise. If PETA spent it's entire budget on sheltering animals, it would barely make a dent in the problem.
My wife has done some work with no-kill rescue groups. Many are unable to take new animals. Often the members of these groups keep their animals in ther own homes. Others have special facilities for the animals, but they charge very high fees to owners who can't keep their pets but don't want them killed.

I did not go to the web site, but another way PETA could get labled as killing animals was when they sided witht the NRA on the Seal Killings up north.
People tried to make a big deal out of it and PETA's comment was. We tried to stop it and that will not work. At least if they are shot (and not clubbed) they will die quickly and more humainly.
That was a good explination to me.
