They are to powerful and criminals. Put more in jail this is a small list of what they are involved in.

brainwashing, exsposing agents, demo stealing rings, security fraud, public manipulation, copyright infringement, payola and so much more.

They pushed the Agenda in the election they had all the answers but they were all wrong Iraq and so many other things.

We need to install a system of checks and balances in our media. They function in too much of a bubble, sort of floating above society monitoring it in kind of a virtual or semi-real method. The media should be people that are those engrained in society already, who have some sort of stake in reporting the truth. Those who stand at the head of media should be qualified veterans of the field, who also have a stake in and accountability in reporting the truth.

More regulations, jail time? Not really needed, its all in how you set up the system.

Corporations own and control the media. The consolidation of power and wealth into the hands of corporate entities that pretend to be human is a Frankenstein nightmare come reality. The corporate sociopaths' interests are in direct conflict with the best interests of the people they exploit. We are in a state of fascism with democracy, liberty, and freedom being erased from memory every day by a hijacked press. The nation is under siege and the collapse of America's ideals will not be broadcast on the evening news... the whispering of the Internet is the last hope of America regaining its voice.

The begining of the end came with Ronald Reagans destruction of the "Fairness Doctrine" in the 80's. That was the death knell to the publics' right to accurate information and reporting, so the citizen could examine the issues fairly.

The people who put Reagan in were also traitors to our country, so the deliberate destruction of our Republic for their personal gain follows logically.

I am quite serious about this and have been saying so since Reagan got in. Very few listened then.

Eisenhower warned us all in the 50's, few listened. Now we will reap the whirlwind as our Republic is strangled. Only if the American people wake up en mass, and demand massive change can we have a chance.

I don't like to make new laws, amend the constitution, or "reinterpret" it as so many Conservatives want to do. However, it may be necessary to outlaw corporate control of media giants. The media has to function completely independent of any bipartisan control, or influence. I also think we may have to outlaw corporate support of politicians as they are buying influence in our government to have it run in ways that support their businesses only.

IMO we are sort of looking at the same problem that we have with big religious organizations. They want to throw their weight into politics to acheive the law or regulations that best benefits them, not the American people. This is a far departure from what we are all about. Due to the recent abuses of these large organizations, they are going to have to come under more control by law, I just don't see any way around it any more.

They government simply needs to break up the corporations that control our media, in order to allow it to function more independently and fulfill its purpose in our society. I think we need to come up with news laws that are similar to that of the separation of Church and State; instead, calling it the separation of Media and State, and the separation of Corporation and State. This is going to be crucial to this country getting back on its feet after the abuses we have experienced.
