One of my friends who is in the Marines is being deployed to Iraq on September 5th... please pray for him.

Consider it done. I pray for all our service personnel, even though I do not agree with the war itself.

My neighbor's son is at Camp Lejeune right now. He is supposed to be shipping out next week to somewhere in Africa. When he called home today, he said all the guys were convinced that Bush would push to go into Iran. Needless to say, she is mortified at that prospect.

Bush no longer has the troops to handel Iraq let alone Iran which is larger and has more people. Many people are saying that if we do not withdraw from Iraq by next summer the US Army and Marines will be a broken force with used up equipment and troops into their third and 4th deployments. What this shows is that 138,000 troops cannot occupy 25 million people. Now how are we going to occupy Iraq?

Prayers that he can be strong and make the best of things.

Prayers that he can stay positive and influence others to do the same.

Prayers that he remember as bad as he has it.. some ones always has got it worse so may he be thankful for what he does have and not cry for what he doesn't.
