I'd like your help in writing an open letter to congress concerning the protection one of our most critical rights -- privacy.

The Case for Privacy Consent

The proposed act, the Electronic Tracking Consent Act, appears below:

No person engaging in a lawful act shall be compelled against his will to be monitored by an electronic tracking device that monitors, records or utilizes the personal information and/or whereabouts of said person. No such person shall be deprived of the knowledge and specifics of the device to be used prior to his consent or refusal to have such a device monitor, record or utilize the personal information and/or whereabouts of said person.

Well I like it. Did you write this Chris or is it part of a larger effort? Wha sor tof things are included? Internet monitoring? Cameras at football games? anything else?

Well, any electronic tracking device, really. I, of course, made the exception for engaging in an illegal act -- wouldn't want to do without LoJack.
