Homosexuality and Our Kids
Friday, November 12, 2004
Psychologists Dr. James Dobson and Dr. Bill Maier warn of the homosexual agenda and it’s impact on our kids. The best defense is a mom and dad modeling healthy relationships.

http://www.oneplace.com/Ministries/James_D..._Family_Minute/

You have to goto his site and listen to the family minute about homosexuality

I wrote something about this before .. Dobson is on a serious power trip. Dobson thinks he sets social policy and in his mind, Bush owes his re-election to him .. and he's already made sure Bush is aware of his 'power' and expects something in return for his support.

Agreed. These people are dangerous. Part of the danger, IMHO, lies in the fact that a large part of the people simply are oblivious to what's really going on. They don't get past the front page of the paper, or skip tp Sports pages, watch very little TV news and in between elections, just don't bother finding out what's up.

I started a folder in Favorites called Radical Busybodies and everytime I find a group like this, I add it. I intend to join most of them & keep informed of their activities. One thought I had is this: Whenever some legislation they are interested in or some politician says something they don't like, they go into a frenzy of emailing the appropriate politicians. I wonder if they can be beat at this game by US sending floods of emails with an opposing view? The politicians pay attention when they scream so loudly and probably get very little from the other side.(us). Just a thought.

I was really surprised when one of my republican friends sent me a link of something he had written about gay people - a belief she shares - that it is something a person decides, and how you can teach people not to be gay.

(Which, I've definately struggled with the fact that she believes this - as she is a really nice person but I can't condone some of her beliefs on gay people).

In any case - they play him on the radio station I used to listen to before I got Satellite Radio so can now listen to Air America - Focus on the family - and he always seemed pretty reasonable on those things - so it was a shock to read what he is really like.

When you see Dobson, doesn't he have the opposite effect of one who is a truly spiritual, loving person, like Sister Joan Chittinger and the Dalai Lama?

People actually listen to that powermad idiot. Did you know he spreads his poison daily on over 3,000 radio stations? Hey, Democrats are consumers, too. Time to get Dobson off the air. Threaten to boycott stations and their advertisers.
