Believe it or not ! Even after proving his goodwill to the extremists, Alberto Gonzales cannot reach the Supreme Court : Christian fundamentalists don't trust him enough on religious issues.

Gonzales may be credited for helping Bush chain-execute people on the death row in Texas and discredit the honor of the US Army at Guantanamo or Abu Ghraib, it takes even further steps to make oneself honorable enough to the eyes of these madhatters.

So King Dubya II had to promote the poor lad to the head of Justice (!) : if Gonzales performs as "well" as the notoriously fundamentalist Ashcroft, nothing can prevent him from getting the job he deserves...
