Full Version: WHAT IS OUR COMMON GROUND

Does anybody else feel that there are just too many new posts coming through? I don't mind myself, but I worry about the administrators and moderators being used incorrectly. One begins to feel that one's posting is pointless, that it will never be read. Maybe the problem is that we don't have a common ground here as we did with the Kerry/Edwards forum. Does anybody have any ideas for what they feel is the common ground for this forum?

This copied topic of mine here is the only issue for me. Other stuff is important too but without this...

Attention PLEASE!

Voting needs TOP BILLING. GIVE IT A FORUM FOR GOODNESS SAKES.

Please give this the attention it deserves before you lose it completely.

You really have to understand that this is THE ISSUE.

WITHOUT THE RIGHT TO VOTE AND WITHOUT THE RIGHT TO HAVE THAT VOTE COUNT--

WE ARE SCREWED.

END OF SENTENCE. END OF DEMOCRACY

go ahead...KEEP HIDING THIS, SHOVING IT IN AS A 'sub-tOPIC' AND WE'RE SCREWED.

I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO HUNT AND PECK FOR THE ONLY ISSUE I PERSONALLY BELIEVE IS THE RELEVANT TOPIC TO THE GOAL OF MAINTAINING A GOVERNMENT FOR THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE OF THE PEOPLE.

Good God people what do you want to look forward to in 2006? How about Jeb bush 2008?

yeesh! HELLLLLLLLLP!

Similarly, I've seen the same topic posted multiple times, and sometimes within the same category!

Seems one should display some self-control, read the "what's new" feature and/or search the topic prior to starting a new thread.

We are counting on you all to figure out your common ground. We are here to organize as much as possible and stick our 2 cents in when we feel we have to.

We are looking for leaders who will step up and get involved, take on a topic or issue and rally the troops.

We could use a small team for each area and one for advertising the forums. I think people here are more than willing to do their share of the work, they just need to be pointed in the right direction.

Who is to say what direction is correct right now? Good question. I guess that is what we are all here to find out.
