This ol' dodged the  again.  'Twas not a melanoma, but 'twas a seborrheic keratosis.  (The Doc said 'twas from sun-damage and age.) clap.gif

What are seborrheic keratoses?

Seborrheic keratoses are noncancerous (benign) skin growths that some people develop as they age. They often appear on the back or chest but are also common on the scalp, face, arms, and legs. Seborrheic keratoses grow slowly, in groups or singly. Most people will develop at least one seborrheic keratosis during their lifetime.1

That's great Joe. I know how releaved you must feel. What ever that thing was I had was different, it grew like wildfire, the Doc said that was one of the characteristics and made it a cynch on his diagnois. They sent it out to the lab anyways and it came back clean.

Please do not shoot the messenger... roflmbo.gif

A little boy blows up his balloon and starts flicking it all around the house with his finger. His mother tells him to stop it as he's liable to break something. The boy continues.

"Johnny!" mom screams. "Knock it off. You're going to break something." He stops and eventually mom leaves for a short trip to the store.

Johnny starts up with the balloon again. He gives it one last flick and it lands in the toilet.

Mom comes in and while putting away the grocery gets the urge. A diarrhea run. She can hardly make it to the toilet in time and SPLASH, out it comes.

When she's finished she looks down and can't believe what she's seeing. Diarrhea everywhere! She's not sure what this big brown thing is in the toilet! She calls her doctor.

The doctor is baffled as she describes the situation, but he assures her he'll be over shortly to examine everything.

When he arrives she leads him to the bathroom and he gets down on his knees and takes a long, hard look at the thing.

Finally, he takes out his pen and sort of touches it to see what it might be and POP! The balloon explodes and diarrhea is everywhere. On him, the walls, etc.

"Doctor! Doctor! Are you all right?" she asks.

He says, "I've been in this business for over 30 years, and this is the first time I've ever seen a fart!"

You're laughing aren't you..I know you are!!!

I saw a photo like this a couple of years ago, must have been some really high speed film to catch the projectile in flight.

I was stationed at a place called Camp Horno at one of my stops at Pendleton. It was underneath the flight path of shells for the artillery range. Hearing a shell whispering to you in transit is something you'll never forget the sound of.

The Inheritance

When Dan found out he was going to inherit a fortune when his sickly
Father died, he decided he needed a woman to enjoy it with.

So one evening he went to a singles bar where he spotted the most
beautiful woman he had ever seen. Her natural beauty took his breath
away.

"I may look like just an ordinary man," he said as he walked up to
her, "but in just a week or two, my father will die, and I'll inherit
20 million dollars." Impressed, the woman went home with him that
evening and, three days later, she became his stepmother.

Brookie, I think that's what we're both saying- although I certainly do not pretend to be putting words in Doc's mouth (as if anyone could). It will still be run by P&O. P&O will become a subsidiary of DPW just like Chrysler is a subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz and Jaguar is a subsidiary of Ford. the shell in flight...I was impressed...as an amateur photog.

Giving sad news to a troop

The Captain called the Sergeant in. "Sarge, I just got a telegram that Private Jones' mother died yesterday. Better go tell him and send him in to see me."

So the Sergeant calls for his morning formation and lines up all the troops. "Listen up, men," says the Sergeant. "Johnson, report to the mess hall for KP. Smith, report to Personnel to sign some papers. The rest of you men report to the Motor Pool for maintenance. Oh by the way, Jones, your mother died, report to the commander."

Later that day the Captain called the Sergeant into his office. "Hey, Sarge, that was a pretty cold way to inform Jones his mother died. Couldn't you be a bit more tactful, next time?"

"Yes, sir," answered the Sarge.

A few months later, the Captain called the Sergeant in again with, "Sarge, I just got a telegram that Private McGrath's mother died. You'd better go tell him and send him in to see me. This time be more tactful."

So the Sergeant calls for his morning formation. "Ok, men, fall in and listen up." "Everybody with a mother, take two steps forward." "Not so fast, McGrath!"
