BigJerr is a posting machine at TOP. Is it still down or has it been moved and they didn't want to inform me of the move?

True Des. It will always be fun debate though, not the angry kind...I hope biggrin.gif

Thanks Peg...the original avatar was really hard to get rid of, but it was time for a change to something more friendly. Do you remember "Dasher"? She could say anything with that minnie mouse avatar and all those smilies and no one ever took offense. Sometimes it's best not to antagonize if you are not really in the mood for any fights.

I've been here since just early last summer. While I knew of the exsistance of RA, I really didn't follow the goings on. People like Frenchy, heart, Pegatha, Eugeenie, and mtnmagic I knew because they often posted in in other sub-forums where I did. mtnmagic I've know the longest. From back in the K/E forum as she was about the only person there who was nice to me.

I wonder if I can pay Eugeenie and Frenchy's fee and encourage them to come back? I sure miss our wayward members.

Was thinking of sending in some extra money when I renew my subsription to cover for Frenchy and Eugeenie just in case they decide to come back or even if they just want to drop in once in awhile to say hi.

This hadn't occurred to me. It's quite possible. BJ and Alice somewhere, canoodling all alone, with Kazan peeping in occasionally.

I don't know about Frenchy (suspect he'll come wandering by sometime on a whim and forget to leave again), but Eugeenie is busy with a new project, doing what he does best (outside of writing), and is pretty dead-set against coming back. He used to talk about starting a new forum, but doesn't have time, now.

What are we gonna do if not enough people reup? Do you think we can cover it? Will Michael scale back so we could cover it with those we have? Could we get a sponsor or something? I don't know, but I sure don't want to lose this forum.....we haven't had such great experiences elsewhere and I'm not up for managing a php board, although I suppose I could.

What does Eugeenie do best?

We were both members of the Howard Dean forum and I think he said one time here that he remembered me but I can't recall him being there altough I should as his wit and writting skills stand out.

I'm going away, before I get caught nabbing the elusive centenary post.

Is centenary a word? It sounds good.

Guess what? I'm eating a whole tootsie roll and that's the first one in 6 months. I haven't eaten anything that hasn't been alive in the past 30 days for 6 months....til now.

I really, really, really hope this is a craving that I can forget about and not a breakdown in my willpower.

For those here who are Grandpa's or are soon to be one, this is a training film for you all.

Right now the weather is beautiful here. No guarantee for next week though, since it was 85 degrees this week that means we'll get a blue norther next week with 4 feet of snow.

I went ebaying tonight and am going to try to revive one of my passions of my youth. Bought a viola so I can seranade the chickens every night this summer. It's been since 1976 since the last time I played one, I always heard it's sort of like riding a bike, once you learn you never forget. We'll put that theory to the test.

I will PM you and attempt to show you how to post an avatar, but not tonight because all of my horses are turning into white-mice, and that means my coach will be a pumpkin soon...
