Amazing really.

It's always amazing to hear or read this speech RD.....it's quite extraordinary in its perception ...But Eisenhower was a keenly intelligent man and well versed in things military. I can't help but feel somewhat nostalgic for a more "innocent' time. And that's not saying that historically any time is ever perfect, but you can recognize the importance of an era that preceded what he has talked about in terms of the military industrial complex that has come to pass.....You could easily mistake him for a Democrat.

Those Eisenhower warned us against then and those who are in the driver's seat today ARE THE SAME PEOPLE.
