First of all, it is a historic fact that we cannot always decide what we should do wether on national or personal levels, sometimes it's get decided for you, and invading Iran could become nessesary, unfortunantly it is a huge wellarmed country, and invading it will unleash unrest in much of the Muslim world in a degree we have not seen yet, and the political ramifications on our homefronts is not small either.
The reason i take this subjekt up is that Bush & Co might get what they want when it comes to a conflikt whit Iran, but far more likely than not it will NOT be what they expect, nor is it nessesarily on THEIR time schedule it will happen.
The problems that faces US and their more or less willing coalition partners is numerous, and i'm afraid not proberly understood by the admin and their cronies.
On the face of it, it would be a curbstomp (Porcupine vs SUV) but in reality the admin has made so many mistakes and alienatet so many, that the distrust to ANYTHING comming from the US is greater than it probably is at any other point in it's history.
On the OTHER hand, even a paranoid can get it right from time to time, and this is one of does time i'm afraid, again unfortunantly it will NOT be by the Bush playbook this will happen, and the end result even whitout WMD could be devastating on both the political and economic plan.
It might be me that is paranoid myself, but i really see the world slowly sliding into a conflkit nobody really wants, but that they might have to take when it comes.
