He all but admitted that the war is a mess and he would have done things differently-in fact, he DID do things differently in the first Iraq war. All of his horrible premonitions with a ground war are now being realized. When he was asked if we are creating more enemies than we can possibly kill, therefore making a quagmire of the Iraq war, he responded "I don't know".

So did Cheney..... there is a quote floating around somewhere. Cheney said "quagmire" Why Cheney didn't have his nose rubbed int that quote I don't know.

I love that NOW..... Swarzkopf shows up. Why didn't anyone seek him out earlier? Was he told to keep quiet? Is he know allowed to talk because it's time to arrange for our withdrawal....? I can't believe they'd give up the oil.

Why can't we keep the Iraqis we are training ALIVE? You'd think after the first bunch was butchered we would have figured out they needed protection.
