Sunshine
You all must suspect I am a skeptic of horoscopes. Still, I tend to read the one for me on msnbc.com.

Whoever is doing their horoscopes has me nailed!

They are almost always directly on target for me.

The one below is eerie considering the apology graham owes me because of his baseless accusations and stalking tactics on the 911 poll thread.....

Unfortunately, the advice offered below wont work in graham's case....

Anyway, the accuracy over the past year or so of the msnbc.com horoscopist (or whatever they are called) for me is giving me pause to reconsider my skepticism.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/8208807/

"Your ego may be a bit bruised from events of a few days back. Has it occurred to you, dear Scorpio, that it is within your power to right the wrong you feel was done to you? It is not a matter of confrontation. Rather, it is merely a matter of conversation. It is quite likely that the person in question is unaware of what they did or said. A simple expression of your dismay may cause a flood of apology. You'll both feel better for having cleared the air."
MrJim
Perhaps your horoscope should read:

"Perhaps today you will learn the reason your head hurts is from banging it on brick walls."

Some people on this board are very opinionated, and it is probably very counter-productive to take them on head-on. Of course, you aren't like that, so it might be hard for you to understand this. tongue.gif

roflmbo.gif Why am I not the least bit surprised to find out you are a Scorpio ? I'm a Taurus and as skeptical about horoscopes as you but Scorpio and Taurus do make good matches as friends. It's fiery at times but never ever dull. And both are loyal to a fault. And of course .. exceptionally intelligent and aware ... tongue.gif One dominant characteristic of a Scorpio is never, ever cross them. A Taurus may attempt at times to be a peacemaker unless their ferocious anger is triggered but a Scorpio takes no prisoners.

Well, I am certainly very opinionated and hard-headed, but I'm not a liar, and I do often apologize for my various asundry mistakes.

I became a skeptic early on when I heard this:

The gravitational effects of the birthing Doctor are more significant on the newborn than the combined gravitational effects of all the planets combined, no matter where they are located.

That made sense to me.

But now I am amazed at these horoscopes lately. Pure coincidence I guess.

Scorpios = intense, passionate, direct, misunderstod, suffer no fools, can wilt the mighty with a single glare. I think they are usually the easiest ones to pick out in a crowd, BTW Sunshine, they are called astrologists, not horoscopists, LOL. (that would be my Virgo coming out)
graham4anything
The thing of it is though, dear dear dear...

what if I am a scorpio too...
Who is going to undo the wrong that was done to me

always remember

as Thomas Pynchon notes in his “Proverbs for Paranoids,” if they can get you asking the wrong questions, they don’t have to worry about answers.(from the NEW YORK Mag. piece

Scorpios scare me, but being a Gemini I can handle it.

I used be an astrology skeptic my self. but after comparing it to CNN, Fox, NYT, WSJournal and most to the other sources of truth I changed my mind. Geminis fortunately have at least a couple options.

One good thing about the horoscope Sunshine is that you get a new one every day. Maybe tomorrow the lingering conflicts will be resolve.

I suppose we shoudl keep open minds.

The other thing about these msnbc horoscopes, is that they seem to come exactly ONE DAY too late.

Every important person in my life is a Scorpio, or has a Scorpio rising sign. Mr. Heart is a Scorpio too.

I'm a Capricorn with Sagitarrius rising.

Hey, Aries aren't so bad! Of course, I'm an Aries with Libra rising, so it kind of tempers the whole deal. Every important person in my life is either a Libra or Sagittarius, so
I like mellow a lot. Was married to a Scorpio for 10 years and thought that the only true astrological information I ever got was to watch out for the scorpion's stinger.

Hey !! over half the American voting population believed in Bush for far too long.. I'd say those believing in astrology show much more common sense !
