EVENT: A Unified Security Budget (Press Release - Announcement)
On May 3, the same day that the House Armed Services Committee (HASC) is scheduled to take up the administration's defense spending request, a non-partisan task force of security and foreign policy experts will release a major policy report which recommends substantial shifts in security spending. The new report, A Unified Security Budget for the United States, asks many of the questions the members of HASC will be unwilling to address and makes bold recommendations for reform.
