We had a good blow up here this morning ....

Strong wind and a lot of rain ....

Stripped the leaves off of a bunch of trees, anyway ......

It's still raining now ....

But not so heavy ...

Ok it's Jan. 2nd and my daffodils are up about 2 inches. It's definately a weird winter. The UN Climate Scientists say we're having an El Nino winter. Today I saw a flock of migrating birds.......heading back to Canada I suppose. I'm pretty far North...I bet the snow mobiles won't be out of the garage this winter and we can forget ice fishing as our lakes are still open water.

It's a beautiful, sunny day in San Diego. Temperature is close to 60. The birds are chirping. We could definitely use more rain though. We haven't had near enough.

Here in central Arkansas, where I just finished reseeding our pasture yesterday, it is raining a
slow drizzly rain just like I asked for.

How fortuitous! Do you still have your horses?

It's a pretty day here as well, with temps in the low 70's and sky overcast. We haven't had any rain in several weeks, and all the cars are covered with pine pollen (and noses are coated with you-know-what), so we are really praying for the rain that appears to be heading our way tomorrow.

I still have my wife and she still has four horses. She promised to engage one of them in
out placement counseling when we moved but she is still stalling. Anyone wanting to buy a very
highly bred performance paint mare cheap, see me any day my wife is not home.

RLA, so often your posts are so densely written, in such technical philosophical language that I am unable to parse through them.
