Something isn't right we can evacuate in a war zone but not Katrina evacuess whats wrong with this picture troops.

We've not been too quick to evacuate Americans in Lebanon, either.
We are a week into this conflict already. Thank goodness the Marines have now been allowed
to go in and begin the evacuation.

Nobody in government cared about New Orleans until the images on TV became so horrific that the American people became outraged.

The only thing this administration can do quickly is rush legislation through during late nite sessions or introduce an 800 page document allowing no time for it to be reviewed - that's the only thing I've seen that they are speedy about. Don't know what the big rush is because they've got this rubber stamp Congress.

They are bumbling along with the evacuation.

And doesn't it strike anyone as odd that other countries didn"t seem to need the whole Mediterranean filled with warships to get their citizens out more expeditously. They are giving me time to think long and hard about all this.

And here, I thought all this time it was when Bangledesh offered several millions in aid that the Bush Bunch got off their fat-a$$es and did something!!!!!!!!!! Embarrassed the crap out of Cheney, they did.
