Full Version: Strickland & Brown Thumping Cons In Ohio

According to the newest Columbus Dispatch poll (released today):

Ted Strickland has extended his lead to 20% over Ken Blackwell in Ohio Governor's race.

Sherrod Brown has 8% lead over Mike DeWine for the Senate.

On a side note, everyone here should probably keep an eye on Ted Strickland. He's gaining across-the-board support here in Ohio, and he's beating the Cons at their own game. He's a former Methodist minister who is stealing the religion vote, he's probably one of the ONLY Democrats to EVER get the NRA endorsement, and he's got a PhD in psychology. In fact, the only bad thing my "Bush-can-do-no-wrong" father-in-law could say about him was that he's from Cleveland, so he'll probably "try to send all the government money up to Cleveland," rather than keeping it here in Columbus. In fact, I know a LOT of brainwashed Bush voters who will be voting for Strickland in the fall, mainly because Blackwell has gone way too far off the Religious Right deep end and turned off everyone but the most lobotomized Republicans. If Strickland has a successful run as Ohio's Governor, I can see him being a viable candidate for the White House down the road.

I'd like to see him throw Blackwell's ass in jail first.

20 point lead, bah. Blackwell has 100% lead of the vote manipulation; Strickland is dust. blink.gif

Sounds good... although, once we kick arse in 08, or nominee is going to kick arse again in 2012 and then the VP is going to kick arse in 2016 and 2020. By the time 2024 rolls around, Strickland will be 83.

One can say that there will be quite a bit of arse kicking going on.

By the way, if people think Bayh/Warner/Vilsack will have a tough time recieving the nomination, they most likely won't think Strickland will get it.
