Ohio is the key again in this election! Big Time!!!

The best opportunity to win a seat in the Senate is in Ohio, Mike DeWine is as weak as water. Keep your eye on this race!

Latest Columbus Dispatch poll shows Sherrod Brown with an 8% lead over DeWine. Brown is a personal favorite of mine, and he happens to be from my hometown (he grew up there but he doesn't live there anymore--just like me!) The other thing Brown has going for him is that he apparently doesn't suffer from the same affliction that the Kerry campaign had in 2004. When the story broke about DeWine using doctored photos of the WTC towers in one of his slime ads, Sherrod Brown had a TV ad denouncing it THAT EVENING. His campaign, unlike Kerry's, takes ACTION and does the RAPID RESPONSE thing. Plus, he's VERY popular in Ohio, and well-funded. Ohio's got a GREAT shot to take back a Senate seat this fall, and an even BETTER shot at taking back the Governor's mansion (Ted Strickland currently holds a 20% lead over Ken Blackwell).

A field coordinator for Sherrod's campaign met with me last night and donated several signs, bumper stickers, etc...... I will be distributing these at the Pike County Fair next week.

I have not seen a single Dewine bumper sticker. I've seen many for Sherrod Brown.


Mac2 - Pennsylvania, Montana and Missouri are our best shot at picking up Senate seats. Ohio is close behind and moving up fast!
