There wasn't enough opposition from Europe to Bush and his war in 2003, either. Why is that?

I don't blame them (Europe) for not getting involved in the American/Israeli attempted land grab in Lebanon. Why put their youths at risk? Why should they? They didn't make the mess, why should they have to pick up the pieces, why should their young people be shot to pieces?

Israel should just get the hell out of Lebanon, withdrawing to at least 5 kilometers from the border. Stop their flybys, stop their clandestine incursions based on lying spies who will say anything for money. Get the hell out!!!!!!! Let the Lebanese rebuild their own country with the help of their own friends.

And you'd better believe it........the very first thing I'd do is have 500 guys build a really good fence. The old adage is still good: A good fence makes good neighbors. Isn't that what Israel is doing to the Palentinians?

You know, it is striking that the Likudnik types keep bringing up 1938, where they are clearly stuck . I mean, what nation is it now that has invoked moral superiorty combined with the most advanced weapons to impose their will on a largely defenseless opposition? And why must we play the role of Neville Chamberlain?
