.....On mr Ken Katherine Blackwell..

QUOTE
"Clair also informed the four-member board that she will return a check to Green Party presidential candidate David Cobb and his counterpart with the Libertarian Party, Michael Badnarik.

They sent money to Lake County to pay for an automatic recount of presidential election ballots in the county.

Their $10 a precinct falls far short of the full cost, Clair said. Additionally, the two third parties can't seek an automatic recount until the state certifies the election.

She also said some prosecutors should challenge this because it could be considered frivolous.

An additional obstacle would be getting the recount completed before the state's electoral college meets Dec. 13, Clair said. The Lake County recount would take two days, Clair said."

Clair's personal response:

QUOTE
Please be advised we are looking into it, it just seems difficult to enforce recount efforts before the state has signed off on the count

Unfortunately, Clair didn't see mr Blackwell's history it seems.

Ken J Blackwell: In it for the money, riding high on Accenture's nationwide voting rolls

QUOTE
""Charlie Black, from all reports a long-time Bush confidant, heads up
Accenture's lobbying arm. Burson-Marsteller is the PR firm for
Accenture. Guess who teamed up with Burson-Marteller for an 18-month,
$15.3 million voter education campaign- Ohio Sec of State Ken
Blackwell."

After all, when you're dealing with a guy who's chairman for the Bush campaign and would love nothing more than to get a nice extra check from Diebold and the voting companies running off Accenture's system, what difference does a few extra or early days have on a recount or revote effort? :o :o :o

I think it's high time the citizens get the state they asked for....And not a partisan cheater's wet dream.

Where did the $10/precinct number originate? It always seemed low, but I can't believe that anyone could have read it wrong. Are "they" going to rewrite the laws on the fly??

Unless Blackwell bribes all the justices to immediately side with him on re-writing the laws, I doubt the county has much room for deciding lined out numbers. So many things went off the wall in this state that it would take immense retaliation for them to try to over-write Ohio's constitution....

Blackwell already tried by trying to reject provisional ballots that didn't have the birth date on the envelope, a requirement that wasn't Nov. 2nd.

He's desperate. He can see us piling wood under the spit. lol.gif

About the blackwell issue

Judge Nathaniel Jones, n-jones@blankrome.com can really help in the supreme court.

We need to convince at least one more, partisan official judge of Blackwell's wrongdoings and ties to Accenture in case they go into dead battle in the courtroom because Mr. Blackwell doesn't like going out of his jurisdiction without a tug of war fight.

Definitely need to contact the republican judges on that supreme panel, with evidence they can be reasoned with.
