I really don't get the impression they are involved or want to fight this battle. I think they feel they've won some with different forms of fraud (at lower levels) and don't seem too enraged as we are. I think it'll all go away quietly and nothing will happen.

why not?
seriously, do you think it was a fix from the beginning?

voter fraud opens a pandoras box that I don't think the dems have the guts to take on. I think they feel afraid that fraud that may have benefited them will come out as well.
No I don't think Kerry was in on the fix I just don't think they want to expose it.

??? Oh, is that why all the discrepancies between the exit polls and the vote counts point at REPUBLICAN fraud?

I'm not talking about this year! I'm sure dems have benefited from fraud at some time at some degree and they know it and don't want to fight.

evidence from citizen group investigations in Riverside California and in Los Angeles indicate fraud by the dems in 2002 - i don't have the source and details info available to me at the moment - but i do have reference material and if i can remember, i'll post it here later tonight.

Sorry... if the dems don't want to take this on once Pandora's Box has been opened.... then we need a new party. They need to understand that. PERIOD. If you haven't made this clear to them yourself then don't complain.

I can totally understand why they are not at the forefront on this. They do not want to be seen as the ones leading the fight...... yet.

As for the Republicans..... they are not even helping with a coup in another country (Venezuela). Why do anything different when it is American voters?

I think they will fight this battle if they see there is sufficient evidence to win the case. However, right now it is all very "iffy", and the consequences could be damaging to the Democrat party. Right now, Kerry, Edwards and the Democrat party want to support all of us and do the right thing by making sure the votes are counted honestly.
I think they are smart to be cautious. We (on the internet and blogs) dont have anything to loose my making noise about the voting fraud. We can take the risk--if there turns out to be no fraud and Bush gains votes in the recounts--we can blow it off--change our avatars and user names-and no harm done. But, for Kerry and Edwards to come out fighting and then find out that there was no fraud and Bush gains votes--would be humiliating and embarrasing.

My feeling is to keep up the letter writing--postings on boards and blogs--and do what we can to keep the investigation going--and let Kerry and Edwards keep a low profile until there is sufficient evidence showing enough fraud to make Kerry a possible winner.

I also think there is some attempt by Kerry and Edwards to give their support to the recounts, etc., to support all of efforts by the people on the blogs, forums and other who are working so very hard to make sure all votes are counted.

unsure.gif I guess now I'm worried the Repugs and Blackwell are going to stall the recount until Bush is re-elected and the electorate vote is done. Then it will be too late. They can stall forever. Plus the judge denied the recount to start until these votes are counted. He's stalling too. Maybe the only way to get attention is to stage a protest like the people did in Russia until someone listens to us. It might be worth a trip to Ohio and Blackwells office.
